Our mission :

Toward the coming Tokyo Olympic Games in year 2020, we are preparing to receive and entertain tourists from overseas in more refined manner. Kobe city has the good international image with many western style buildings since more than 100 years ago surrounded by the beautiful harbour and Rokko mountains.

 

Taking this opportunity, we, the volunteered group of "Kobe Halal luminous campaign center," are pursuing to introduce to Kobe citizens real life & culture of Islamic people, who are said to be counted as many as 1/4 or 1.8 billion of the world population, in principle, living under Moslem credo. We know they are people of loving peace and security to the same extent to ourselves, being friendly with their neighbours. The current unfortunate problems prevailing in Middle East region are unlawfully caused by some exceptionally extreme people. We have come to know, from our questionnaire research at Sannomiya city streets, many Japanese citizens are simply worried and rather turn their blind eyes to the Islamic world.

 

The purpose of "Kobe Halal luminous campaign center" is to give them chances of learning about the Islamic standard of living under Koran, or Qur'an. Important is not only such a basic understanding but also to learn about daily rules that the Islamic people observe under the credo, especially Halal regulation of eating and drinking. It should be the very key in entertaining Moslem tourists or visitors. At present, hotels and restaurants at Kobe are not at all equipped with the system of serving food and beverage prepared with Halal regulation. It should be very embarrassing and inconvenient to them, lacking in the entertaining "Omotenashi" spirit at our side.

 

To improve and provide better service to Islamic visitors at Kobe, expected to increase to 2020, would also provide attractive business chances to the related industries.
